Macros come in handy when you need to automate repetitive tasks; instead of doing things yourself, you can let a macro to do things for you. With the Bartels Media-developed Mouse Recorder you can record, edit and play macros. So if you want to automate a task, you can use Mouse Recorder to create a macro that simulates the mouse movements and keyboard actions that go into performing said task.

As expected, a setup wizard will help you install Mouse Recorder on your Windows PC. Thanks to this setup wizard you will quickly get Mouse Recorder up and running on your PC. It must be mentioned here that the setup wizard will inform you that security software may detect Mouse Recorder as spyware because it processes keyboard input.

Mouse Recorder has a ribbon interface: buttons for all the features and functions it has to offer are presented at the top, on a ribbon; with a simple mouse click you can hide the ribbon out of sight. From the Settings menu, the User Interface submenu, you can choose if you want the interface to be displayed in English or German. The main panel on Mouse Recorder’s interface presents a link to start recording a new macro and a link to load an existing macro. It also lists the macros you opened recently.

Use the Record button to record key presses, mouse clicks, and mouse movements. Or to put it into other words, use the Record button to record all the actions that will go into your macro. When you’re done with the recording, you can fine tune it by playing with several editing options. When you’re done with the editing, you can save your macro and you can play your macro. If you need any help using Mouse Recorder, check out the Documentation page on its official website.
